Last week, on on of those days in between showers I was invited over to a beautiful home in Lexington to photograph their children. Here are two of my favorites from that morning's session.

If there were such a thing as a garden fairy, I think this little girl is exactly what one might look like.

Third time was a charm with this family. After trying a few times the weather finally cooperated (sort of) and we were able to get everyone together for a session.

Tanglewood was really busy, with weddings, families and a BMX race going on. But we managed to find a few quiet spots to shoot, and the cloud cover was perfect for lighting. Toward the end of the session it started to thunder and lightning which made us wrap up pretty quick Here are a few from this Saturday's session.

Have a Fantastic Monday!

Here are some twin tidbits for you.

• Elvis Presley had a twin who did not survive after birth. His name was Jesse Garon.

• The highest rate of twinning belongs to the Yoruba Tribe of Nigeria and the lowest rate belongs to China

4.5 million twin individuals live in the United States today or about 2 percent of the general population.

A woman from Italy had 11 sets of fraternal twins in 11 years the last being in 1947.

There is a general belief that Yam in our diet contributes to twinning and multiple birth.

Rain, rain, rain. Gosh, it seem like this entire week has been a washout. Even my sessions for this afternoon are going to be wet and rainy. The upside is the great sauturation and even light provided by the storms.

I have to thank the moms who came out Thursday morning in a light rain to shoot. It was a bunch of fun hanging out at the park, and I love the pictures that were captured. Here are just a few.

Enjoy the Saturday afternoon showers!

This cute little guy has been coming to my studio every month for the past 5 months with his baby sister. He has always been so good, and today I turned the camera on him in honor of his birthday.

Then this afternoon the rain held off long enough to spend some time with these sweet little girls at Tanglewood. Their grandfather was nice enough to tag along for moral support.

Every now and then I get a really funny picture at the end of the shoot. When the kids are tired and ready to go home. Today I was glad to catch this expression on the biggest sister's face. She was obviously annoyed and ready to be done.

Have a great rest of the day readers. And if you have children taking the EOGs tomorrow, wish them good luck from me.

It is Monday, I hope all the moms out there had an amazing Mother's day. My weekend was great. Since the weather was nice we spent hours and hours outside. It looks a little gloomy today so I am happy to be in editing for most of the day. Here are a couple from a very sweet session with the "B" family's newest edition.

Happy Monday!

I had to share this image with you all. I can't help it but every time I see this picture I start to whistle the theme song to "The Andy Griffith Show". They only need fishing poles instead of goggles.

Go ahead get it started in your mind too. You can thank me later if it sticks with you all day.

Happy Wednesday.
