Had an absolute blast photographing this High School Senior girl. We shot at three locations to achieve these images. Here are a few favorites from the session.

Another spectacular wedding. I had two weddings this past weekend, and both of them were touching stories of LOVE. This bride and groom were married at Childress Vineyards in Lexington. The evening ceremony couldn't have been more perfect. Childress is a gem of a location, and we are lucky to have them here. Be sure to check out their website for more information on hosting events with them. They also have wine tastings and a superb bistro.

This Thursday the are having a fundraiser for Crisis Ministries, if you don't have meal plans, I hope you'll consider their great food this Thursday for a very special cause.

Another truly wonderful wedding for 2013. This was a new location for me. The cabin and surrounding setting offered many places for us to shoot.

I met Tiffany last year and was instantly wowed by her personality and beauty. We had so much fun shooting her bridal portraits in the fall, which of course added a ton of excitement getting ready to shoot her wedding.

Last weekend I was so pleased to partake in a wonderful charity event hosted by the Positive Wellness Alliance. This organization serves people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in Davidson, Davie, Forsyth & Yadkin Counties in North Carolina.

The vendors and sponsors were all fantastic compliments of each other. Find out more information about this organization by clicking HERE.

The weather this week has been perfect for all my outside sessions. This week I was invited to the home of one of my 2014 couples to shoot their engagement session. The location of your engagement portraits plays a huge role in making them a success. Whenever possible, I plan the sessions in an area that is special to the couple. If that isn't a possibility, or if the couple isn't from this area we still try to match the location to the couples interest. If you are a "city" couple then we know a ton of great city spots with loads of urban buildings, rusty painted stairwells, and walls of shimmering glass. But if you are a country dweller, well we are right at home in an overgrown grass field or in front of a peeling red barn.

We are in the height of wedding season which means lots of hours photographing on location, lots of hours editing... and very little time blogging. But after a conversation with a future bride yesterday she brought to my attention my very slack blogging style over the past month.... She's right. Thank you Tracey I will jump back on the blogwagon :)

Last weekend our wedding was in Salisbury with a very fun group of Guys and Girls. Here are just a few from the day.
