A client asked me yesterday, "What is your favorite subject to photograph?" I am asked that often and each time I have to really think hard before answering. Because of the way my artist brain works I am constantly changing my mind, but yesterday when the studio was empty and I had a bit of time to reflect on the day I thought about the question some more. It hit me.... after six years of being asked, it finally hit me! PEOPLE. My favorite thing to photograph is PEOPLE. Not a certain age, or session. Not weddings, not anniversaries, not birthdays... but PEOPLE, plain and simple.

 

         I've been lucky enough to share events with my clients, but the joy in the image is the story behind it. Getting to know people, families and individuals it is what drives my photography.
